About Torshiz
TORSHIZ LEATHER is a Dutch leather atelier rooted in the quiet tradition of European craftsmanship — where patience, precision, and material honesty come first.
Based in the Netherlands, we design and handcraft every piece in our sunlit workshop, just outside Utrecht. Here, time slows down. Leather is cut by hand. Stitches are pulled one by one, never by machine. We work with restored vintage tools, including early-20th-century German sewing machines and hand-turned flywheels, because true quality resists automation.
We use only full-grain, vegetable-tanned hides sourced from LWG-certified tanneries in Europe. No chrome. No synthetics. Just natural materials, allowed to age, soften, and tell their own story, just as they should.
Every TORSHIZ piece is made to order, and shipped from our studio to over 30 countries worldwide. Not as fast fashion. Not as disposable goods. But as heirlooms in the making: functional, timeless, and built for decades, not seasons.
